The restaurants and shops in the region are primarily clustered around the ball park, and the closer that you get to the park, the more sports centric. Fenway is a hub for student housing and the properties are more of a mid scale tenant building without the architectural detail typical of the South End and Back Bay. The region contains a combination of national scale businesses restaurants (Chipotle, Target, CB2, Barnes & Nobles, etc), local businesses, and apartments for Massachusetts residents and students. Boston University is located on Commonwealth Avenue, a main street that runs through Kenmore. Northeastern University also spills into Fenway and we host many guest professors from the university. Lansdowne Street is a popular street for Sox fans lined with bars to celebrate before, during, and after the game, and there is also a House of Blues there that holds concerts.
